COOP STREET project.

“To create a relaxed yet luxe, cosy family home vibe. Consider the elements of the home that are existing, and create a specification of furniture and décor that will reflect this feel, and be practical to the needs and liveability of a family.”

After a stint abroad for work, this family were keen to move back in to their family home. The home had been rented whilst they were gone, and whilst debating weather to keep it or sell it, they decided the location and size was too good to give up. Wanting to really put roots down in to their local community, they decided to invest in a total re-fresh of the home, to freshen it up and make it their own.

We created a welcoming entry giving a sense of the overall style of the home and the family that live there. A marble top natural timber console, paired with a abstract earthy luxe art work provides a soothing feature point directly through the door. Framed with some white and brass wall lights adds a sophisticated fresh moody vibe. Black and white art prints of the clients choosing provided a simple point of interest upon entry into the home. And a round oak mirror will feature in the entry cut out to reflect light and for last minute hair and makeup checks before jumping in the uber for an adults only night out!!

A relaxing and comfortable family lounge zone in the open plan living. The chaise is a cosy and inviting spot to relax, and the two leather armchairs provided extra seating for family and friends. The Porters fresco finish to wall in TV alcove, created a soothing soft texture behind the TV and the softness of the timber and wicker enhanced this warm fresh look. A large rug underfoot in neutral tones, provided warmth and defined the zone.

We kept the opening to the media room the current size, and filled the opening with glass bi-fold doors - This design provides some acoustic barrier when shut, whiles maximising the available natural light and feeling of spaciousness to both the open plan living and theatre rooms. This option has enabled the theatre to have multiple uses.
